Years 3-4: Stage 2

There are two parallel classes in each of these year levels, with a class of new girls joining us in Year 3. Class teachers work closely together, collaboratively planning and often team teaching.

How Students Learn
Having mastered most basic skills by the end of Stage 1, the girls are able to work more independently from Year 3 and are taught skills and strategies to help them take more responsibility for their own leaning. Greater differentiation and group work takes place, and teamwork skills are developed. Flexible groupings based on ability, most often in Mathematics and English, ensure girls are being challenged at their own level of ability
