Come to the Senior Library at lunchtime on Wednesday 14 February and join in our special event Book Speed Dating. Fall in love with a very special selection of books!

During Chinese New Year the Senior Library will be holding two events to celebrate The Year of the Dog. On Friday 16 February come and make a Chinese Paper Lantern – all materials will be supplied. On Friday 23 February the Library will be holding its popular fishing competition - but with twist! Both events will be held in the Library at lunchtime.

We will also be doing Chinese themed origami, colouring in and word searches every lunchtime throughout Chinese New Year.

The Library is available to Secondary students at the following times:

Hours 7.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Wednesday
  8.00am – 5.30pm Thursday
  8.00am – 4.30pm Friday

 

 

Come to the Library in Weeks 8 and 9 at Recess and Lunchtime to make some Christmas decorations. You can take the decorations home or use them to help decorate the Library’s Christmas tree.

There is still time to participate in the Horror/Ghost Reading Challenge. Read one book from each category to enter in the draw to win our major prize. Reading lists and entry forms are available from the Library. All entries are due on Monday 4 December, Week 9.

Gone Fishin’. The Library will host its popular fishing competition on Thursday 30 November in Week 8 at Lunchtime. Prizes will be awarded in various categories.
