Following the Trust’s AGM on Monday 27 May in the Joan Freeman Lecture Theatre, I would like to thank the wider SCEGGS community for their ongoing support.

In 2018 the Trust, in partnership with parents, Old Girls, past parents and members of the wider SCEGGS community, continued raising money for the Shining Light Program, which encompasses both the Scholarship Fund and the Building Fund.

It was with great pride and enormous gratitude to be able to report at the AGM that the Shining Light Program received over $1.1 million in gifts last year - a truly outstanding effort.

The SCEGGS Trust is fortunate to have so many members of the SCEGGS community supporting our fundraising efforts, and I thank all donors for sharing in the future of SCEGGS and ensuring that we can provide the best possible education for our girls.

For anyone interested, a copy of the 2018 Trust Annual Report, which includes a list of our donors is now available on the SCEGGS website:

If you would like any further information about the Trust or would like to become a member, I would encourage you to contact me on 0416 233 145/ or SCEGGS Director of Development, Daisy Bahen via

Thank you again for the support!

Chair of the SCEGGS Trust
