Primary French Teacher

Applications are invited from experienced French teachers for a 6-month maternity leave position at SCEGGS Darlinghurst for Term 1 and 2, 2020 teaching French from Kindergarten up to Year 4.

The successful applicant will be a fluent French speaker who has experience teaching French to young children and who has the ability to instil in them a love of the language and the motivation to want to learn it. They will be enthusiastic and innovative, will have experience in curriculum differentiation and a commitment to using a range of different classroom strategies. The position could be part-time (0.6) or full-time, depending on the successful applicant’s preference and expertise, including the possibility of teaching other subjects and/or year levels.

They will also be committed to the full life of the School and supportive of its Christian ethos.
