Our location in Darlinghurst is so important to us. Being on the edge of the city enables us to access the many resources of both the local area and the city itself.
For example, art classes can walk to one of the small local galleries or the NSW Art Gallery within a regular lesson. Local sporting facilities can be accessed for both PDHPE lessons and co-curricular sport before or after school. Students can visit the Australian Museum as a part of their learning in Science or History. As a part of our community service program we work with local charity organisations to offer support and resources to help those in our area who many need some extra help.
Our local community provides so many opportunities which enhance the learning at SCEGGS. Additionally, we desire to give back to our community as often as we are able.
